5 weeks!

Yesterday Kensley was 5 weeks old!! I can't believe how fast the first month flew by. She is sleeping great at night, usually doesn't wake up until about 5!! I lucked up! She is usually always happy excpet for nap time, she fights her sleep, but its usually only during the day. When she was 3 weeks, she weighed 10. 9 so I can only imagine how big she is now, she is a little chunk!

Blair is doing so well in school. She reads so well, I swear I think she is gifted ha! She pulled her first top tooth over the weekend!! She was so excited! ANd she is loving being a big sister!!

An update!

She doesn't look like she is only 2 weeks old!!!
Daddy's Little Girl!

Labor didn't go as expected. They ended up having to do the epidural twice because it was not working, and they 2nd time wasn't any better. I wasn't making any progress so they had to do a c-section, where they had to do a spinal block since the epidural wasn't working. Luckily Kensley arrived safe and healthy, weighing 9lbs. 3oz and was 19 3/4 in. long!!! Last Wed. she was one week and she started vomiting and running a low grade fever so the Dr. told us to take her to the ER where we spent 4 long days in the hospital, but luckily all test were clear and they doc's said it must have been a bug!! We go to the caridoligist next Friday, and I pray that the murmur has closed on its own. Please keep us in your prayers over the next week and pray we get a good result!

Tomorrow is the big Day!

Tomorrow is the big day! I will go in at 1PM and I know I probably won't sleep a wink tonight, because last night I only slept about 2 hours!! I just laid there thinking about all the things I had to get together, for me, Marc, Kensley, and Blair!! I think I am more anxious than nervous about it! I am so ready for her to get here so I can see what or WHO she looks like!! We all know Blair looks exactly like Marc, guess those George genes are strong!! My mother and grandmother I don't think could be more excited, we haven't had a little on my side of the family since Hayden, which was 8 almost 9 years ago!! I think he is going to have to adjust alot to not being the baby anymore! He started football last week, and this is the first week they practice in pads, I am anxious to see how he does, because he is alot smaller than some of the other boys, but I am sure he will do fine! Keep us in your prayers tomorrow and pray that Kensley arrives here safe and healthy!!!!

Kensley Arrives!

We have to be at the hospital at 1:00 PM on Tuesday. They are going to see if I have made any progress (which will be doubtful) and put me in and get ready to induce. Since 1 PM is an awkward time, it may be sometime on Wed. before she gets here. But if everything goes according to plan she will be here no later than Wed. ( IF NOT BEFORE!)

Blair's First Day of 1st Grade!

Blair's first day of 1st grade was today! She was very excited! We took her Monday night and met her teacher, Mrs. Waid. Blair really liked her. She was so excited about this morning she woke us up to get ready!!!
